Very good news for Slavia Prague fans, our legend Vláďa Šmicer signed one year contract and he is back in our great club, where he grew up.

Most successful player?

I’m not sure, but take a look what successes Šmicer has:

League title with Slavia Prague in Czech Republic 1996

League title with Racing Lens in France

FA Cup winner in 2001

League Cup in Czech, France and England

Champions league title 2005

UEFA cup champion in 2001

Vladimír scored in 3 EUROs in the line

Second with Czech national team at Euro 1996

Third with Czech national team at Euro 2004

Second in Premiership with Liverpool

and many others like UEFA cup semi-final with Slavia Prague

Famous moment

Do you remember his fabulous goal in one of the greatest football games in history - Champions League final 2005 in Instanbul?!

Slavia Prague - the heart

Slavia is in Vladimir’s heart and he is absolutely popular by all Slavia Prague fans in Czech Republic. His first friendly match in our jersey visited almost 2 000 fans (regular visit at Slavia’s friendly matches is around 50 fans ).

Slavia + Smicer = Champions League?

We are all looking forward to finally qualified to Champions League. With Šmicer in the squad, we can do it. It is sure, that after successful qualification, he will become immortal for all of us!!

Our (Czech) national center-back signed for Sam’s Newcastle. Let me tell something to Magpie’s fans about David Rozehnal.

Facts

David was born in 1980 close from Olomouc (not far away from Ostrava, where is Pavel Srníček from). Rozehnal played for 2 years in Sigma Olomouc. After that he moved to FC Bruggy, in that time he was Czech “21″ national team player. After one year, because of good play in Bruggy, he was asked to play for Czech national team. So far: 35 matches, 0 goals.

What fans suppose to know?

He has never been Czech “no.1″ defender, but he is quite popular. During WC2006 qualification couch Bruckner said, that David plays “football baroque”. I don’t know what exactly did Bruckner mean, but probably, that Rozehnal was only standing and not playing, but since that is David really better and we all like him. His nickname “Baroque” is also very nice meant right now.

Newcastle United

Alan Shearer was one of my favorite players ever, I like Magpies and I am looking forward to watch their games with Czech player in squad.

No doubt, that on the transfer market is Henrys move to Barcelona is the biggest football story of this summer.

Loss for Arsenal?

I don’t think so. So far has Arsenal played every attack ball through Henry. I guess, that now will great players like Rosicky, Fabregas or Hleb play with much more leisure. I also expect, that Arsene Wengere is going to buy some striker like Anelka (type I like, scoring type).

Winning for Barcelona?

Right now I am definitely pessimistic. I can’t imagine Ronaldinho, E’to and Henry next to each other. Because I like Barca very much and my very good friend Michi is Barcelona’s huge fan, I hope, that I am wrong right now.

For one week I was thinking about what to write about final match AC Milan against FC Liverpool, because I didn’t see anything special in that game.

Nothing surprising:

I bet 2:1 for Milan, that means, that I really wasn’t surprise when game was over. AC Milan played exactly what I expected and Liverpool didn’t have someone like Šmicer, who took the responsibility two years ago. I don’t hide, that Vladimír Šmicer is one of my favourite players ever and that I am really glad, that I had the chance to meat him personally.

Yeah, ok, there was something surprising for me: Kaka didn’t score - I also bet on that and if he really scored, I would win very nice money

Deserved champion

I think, that Champions league title is in good hands, AC Milan played all competition very well and we all saw, what experiences mean in reality. After hilarious match against Manchester Untd., ther was no doubt about their power and abilities.

Kaka

Almost everybody (including me) says, that Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo are currently two best players all the world. And because of the Champions league result, I guess, that Kaka is going to reach Gold Ball trophy at the end of this year.

Next season

Especially Chelsea, Real Madrid and Man Utd are looking up to their chance to win Champions League in next season. Inter, Barca, Lyon and AC with Liverpool again will try to reach the most valuable trophy too. My support will have both Czech teams (but with no chances to win ) and Arsenal with Lyon.

This Saturday at 3 p.m. - Wembley Stadium. Abramovic’s Chelsea against Premiership winner Manchaster United. Final game of the oldest domestic cup competition in the world. Which club is going to get his second season trophy?

Match preview:

Chelsea won less important, but also valuable League Cup and after obscure point loosing in last Premier League’s matches will Mourinho’s boys try to smooth up their fans. We all have heard Mourinho’s crying about injuries, like he is maybe going to use goalkeeper Hilario in strike. Bullshit! He has many perspective and fit young players. I saw for example Sahar and I promise, that we will hear about him in the future (or maybe tomorrow?! ). Anyway it’s true, that John Obi Mikel, Andriy Shevchenko, Michael Ballack, Ricardo Carvalho are out, but I expect Arjen Robbben, Didier Drogba and hilarious Joe Cole to play their best to reach FA CUP trophy. Petr Čech is not going to capitulate more than ones, there is more probable, that we will see another of his magnificent shows with 0 at the end.

However I think, that Chelsea is going to win this match, I need to admit, that in this season I liked Man Utd. more. They’ve played with amazing accuracy game by game as machine. Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Rooney are great players, but they are not gonna make it. Giggs and Scholes are already too old and on the other side Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are too young to be able to carry all that responsibility by them selves.

My guess: Chelsea win, tight, but win..

And what about bet courses? Totally equable courses, in my bet office 2.6 on both. So how will I bet? For sure: bet on draw - 3.0 is more than 2.6, don’t you think?
